Victoria Balsamo

Victoria grew up on Long Island, 12 miles from NYC. She moved to rural Amish Ohio in 1975 when she married, right after graduating from Drew University.

She spent the better part of her first few years there pruning pines and learning how to silversmith from a book called “Indian Silversmithing” by Oscar Branson (this book is out of print but still available).

She opened a Native American store in the Mohican area of Ohio in 1979. After operating the store for 42 years she then moved to St Augustine,FL in 2010.

Since moving to the Sunshine state she has operated a booth at the Saturday Farmer’s Market at the Amphitheater where she sells her silver jewelry creations and crystals .She is affectionately referred to as "The Crystal Lady”.

Becoming a member of Butterfield Garage Art Gallery is a new chapter for her. She is looking forward to expanding her presence in the downtown and meeting new people.

Please stop by to see her beautiful jewelry and wish her well in this new endeavor!
