Monthly Featured Artists
In addition to our member artists gallery, the Butterfield Garage Art Gallery highlights a featured gallery member artist each month on a rotating basis.
For a special experience, come join us during our popular "First Friday" art walk held the first Friday of every month from 6-9 pm. These monthly receptions have developed into somewhat of a social and cultural phenomenon for our area, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors and residents alike. The opportunity to visit with the artist, and hear them speak about their work is a unique experience made possible by our member-run gallery venue. Direct exposure to artists of this caliber is not something every area can offer, and contributes positively to Saint Augustine's culturally rich environment.
Open Invitation Exhibition
Is it the teacher, mentor artist that encouraged you? or a painting you saw in a museum? Maybe it’s the beauty of nature or emotions inside that drive you to create. Be as creative as you like in your interpretation. Draw it, paint it, collage it… be creative!

Canvases and entry forms can be picked up at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery starting January 28th. Entry fee is $10 per entry and includes an 8” x 8” canvas.

Works created with materials other than the canvas supplied must conform to the 8” x 8” dimensions.

The gallery is open everyday 11-5pm. All entries must be received at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery no later than Sunday, April 30.

The exhibit’s opening reception will take place on Friday, May 3rd, and the exhibition will continue through May 31.

You decide if your masterpiece will be for sale. Butterfield Garage will handle any sales and will retain a 15% fee.
